For Your Weekend Listening Pleasure
It’s the weekend again. Dr Kamsiah and I have chosen to bring in two 
legends of music, Paul McCartney and Barbara Streisand. We also present a tribute to George Harrison of The Beatles. Let us have a good weekend by listening to some wholesome music.
May the music lift up our spirits when conventional wisdom tells that this is not the time to relax given the state of our country, especially when we know that the same faces from UMNO will be re-elected at the party elections. Both Khairy Jamaluddin and Shahrizat A Jalil are UMNO Youth Leader and Wanita UMNO Chief respectively. Despite being embroiled in the RM250 million NFC Corporation scandal, PM Najib still publicly endorsed Shahrizat Jalil as Wanita UMNO Chief and she’s winning at time I am posting this – oh my God – why has become of Malaysia? What kind of Prime Minister do we have and the kind of people he surrounds himself with?

Mr Bean, whatever the state of affairs in this land you so dearly love, you must make all efforts to return even for a brief visit as there are, I’m sure, loads of loved ones waiting to re-establish that bond that may eventually like a rubber-band, lose its elasticity and fade away. Your concerns for the land of your birth is undeniable but Malaysia is sinking by the day and its emergence from the depths like a phoenix can only be determined by every Malay man and woman, as in their hands lies the ultimate fate of this nation.

Malaysia is in a free fall. No one can do anything about that. But I found my freedom over here. I’m no longer what you call a “Constitutional Malay” and I’m not welcome back home. That’s just reality.
