Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia 2012: Defending Champion Na-Yeon Choi is Joint Leader with Karrie Webb at 65
Defending Champion Na-Yeon Choi (left) of South Korea joins Australia’s Golf Sweetheart Karrie Webb in the lead at 65 at the end of Day 1 of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia 2012.
Michelle Wie of the United States and a favorite of the Malaysian golf fans finished at 75, 10 strokes behind the leaders while her compatriots, Cristie Kerr and Paula Creamer carded a 68 and 69 respectively. Malaysia’s Jean Chua finished the round with a 75.–Din Merican
