Kedahans: Prove Your Love for Dr. Mahathir

Jerlun Parliamentarian Mukhriz Mahathir has urged Kedahans to prove their love for his father, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, by voting BN back into power.
Mukhriz said BN’s defeat in Kedah was a major blow to Mahathir because his father was a former Prime Minister who hailed from the state.
“The defeat in 2008 has brought shame to us. Among those who are embarrassed is Mahathir because he is a Kedahan.
“If you love Mahathir, don’t let him be embarrassed twice,” he said during a breaking of fast session with the press in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
On the current administration in Kedah, Mukhriz said PAS leaders were too busy fighting among themselves to focus on the next general election.
“They are fighting for seats because they are no longer the opposition,” he said.
He slammed the state government for being insensitive towards non-Muslims because the minority community is discriminated against where rules governing entertainment outlets are concerned.
“They (non-Muslims) are increasingly dissatisfied with the state government. They (the state government) make statements which gave the impression that non-Muslims always frequent entertainment outlets and are immoral,” he said during his speech.
Umno, too, must avoid infighting
Last July, Kedah government enforced the Entertainment and Entertainment Outlets Enactment 1997 – which was gazetted on February 12, 1998 – that strictly forbids Muslims from frequenting entertainment outlets during the month of Ramadan.
The outlets were apparently peeved that the Kedah government also forced them to cease operations from 6pm on Thursdays to 2.30pm the next day, out of consideration for Friday’s prayers.
On speculation that he would be tapped as BN’s choice for Menteri Besar, Mukhriz skirted around the question instead, calling on Kedah BN to close ranks.
“I have given my all to help us win back Kedah. Unity is important (for victory). Without unity, don’t even dream about winning back the state. We might forever regret (if we lose),” he said.

Bila Bapak PM dulu ada tak terlintas didalam benak Mukhriz atau Bapak nya betapa sedihnya dan susahnya kehidupan orang kampong di Kedah. Sudahlah tu bila seronok, seronok sendiri jadi jangan lah merayu belas kesian. Bacalah media alternatif bagaimana rakyat bencinya kepada Bapak kamu dan tak ada perkataan kesat yang tak digunakan untuk mendescribe kebencian mereka. Jadi bagaimana nak tunjuk kesayangan.

This guy was on the secret payroll of the local branch of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and has his remuneration for services rendered credited in US dollars in Tokyo while working as a tourism consultant in Kuala Lumpur in the ’80s. This is the guy voters in Kedah are asked to vote?? Gimme a break!
Mahathir 22 years as Prime Minister is too preoccupied in changing deputies & building his grandiose , rather than setting up good foundation & good successor for Malaysia.
His words carry too much hate than love which shows his shallowness as a past leader.As the different races are trying to unites, he throws venom and so blatantly proud of his actions. Mukriz can go peddling with so called love Mahathir to Kedah kampong folks and my take is that it does not sell anymore.
If the Chinese are desperate for entertainment there are borders in Penang & Thailand for them to choose.

Mukhriz, your dad is a menace and embarrassment to all well-meaning Malaysians. He should just shut up and not embarrass the rakyat any further.
As for you, show that you have you have what it takes to be the Menteri Besar of Kedah. Stop hanging on your father’s coattails. Kedahans like me will reject UMNO-BN and Dr. Mahathir in the coming GE13. If stand for elections in Kedah, you may lose because as anak orang bangsawan, you cannot connect with ordinary people. Wait and see.

The trouble wiith these UMNO leaders is they are out of touch with the outside world and they are only good at syok sendiri. They live in a coccoon world. They think those coat hanges around them represent the views of the majority of Malaysians.
That is why you have a “Mode-controlled” Information Minister coming out with ridiculous theme song and logo for this year’s merdeka and you have a PM who thinks the Govt can get away with the scandalous tender for the Ampang LRT, and you have the Home Minister who acts as though Malaysia is bordered by the four walls of his office in Putrajaya.
Had to believe that Malaysians had allowed these bunch to run this country for the last 55 years, unbroken. That is why I say, Malaysians especially the broader community of Malays who form the majority, are born losers. They bought all the “Untuk Bangsa dan Agama” crap from these UMNO parasites on the belief that UMNO is looking after their interest, instead they got cleaned out through and through while the UMNOputras and their cronies enriched themselves to the hilt. Where are all the UMNO money. In safe havens overseas, properties in UK, Canada, US, Australia, and Europe.
The sadder part is that the Malays WILL STILL VOTE this bunch of crooks to run the country in the next GE. They don’t learn at all, because the slogan’ “Untuk Bangsa dan Agama” is like an opium to them. They are so insecured that all UMNO go to do is to pick a chinaman as a bogeyman, and they will all run with their tails between their legs to hide behind UMNO. Of course, they will come out with bravado like Perkasa, Perkida and the whole lot of those UMNO-sponsored Malay NGOs to push the racist barrel during election time.
Meanwhile, the chinamen will continue happily making money and sending their children overseas to study, remain overseas and live a better life. Its a version of capital flight (human capital and financial capital).
Even God cannot save Malaysia from UMNO, let alone the Malaysian born losers.

Maybe San Miguel Corporation , in which the Mahathir family owns 19.9 percent of the shares for which they paid RM2.9 billion , plans to build a brewery to manufacture San Miguel beer in Kedah. Thats is why they need this son as the Menteri Besar ! Any thoughts Din?
And Din , please don’t ask Bean for an opinion on this . His answer would be obvious lah!

It is a commercial deal that is good for San Miguel. The company now has Petron in the Malaysian market, not just beer. But I thought Exxon-Mobil should have sold their retail business to Petronas. I doubt San Miguel will be starting a brewery in Kedah or in any other part of Malaysia.–Din Merican

To make comparison with love for Tun M and BN is way too cheap a spin to pull. Those who need to prove their love for Tun M and voted for BN are infect proving it is not love they seek by material gains.

Voters should vote intelligently, logically with fear for the future of their children’s children in Malaysia. Have we not be stupid enough for the past 55 years? GE 13 is the time to show that we Malaysian can intelligently elect a team to serve us, oh no, to save us from all the demised created from BN 55 years old rule. The line must be drawn. The buck stop here (GE13). A vote for BN is a vote for a corrupted government. Malaysia’s future is in the hands of Malaysian’s voters. Malaysia swim or sink is in the hands of Malaysian voters. My future and those of my children’s children depends on all Malaysian’s voters.

It was a room for one of its local directors and if I recemember the name Mr Bean, it was Mokhzani Mahathir, not Mukhriz Mahathir.
Moderate Muslim Malaysia now has a beer factory in the pipleline in Kedah under the flagship of Manila based San Miguel Corporation should the son of his father become Mentri Besar?? Then I think you guys should stop drinking beer in Kedah because the San Miguel beer would have monopoly of the market there. Everytime you say bottoms up or ‘kampai’ in Japanese with a bottle of Sam Miguel beer in hand, it would be like kissing Mahathir’s ass. Believe me you don’t want that.

In 1982 there was no Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. And it was not in Foch Avenue (old name for Jln. Sultan Mohammad?) It was in Medan Pasar. In 1982, Mukhriz Mahathir was receiving training in Tokyo. Mokhzani was the high flyer at home. Of the three sons Mukhriz was the dumbest of the three.
