  1. Din,
Pardon me for my ignorance. I believe commonwealth students before 1979 pays no tuition fee. Am I right? I believe Dr Kamsiah went there before Maggie became PM. Cost of living then as of now as high as ever.

    P.S : I was in England in the 90s

She was there in the late 80s when tuition fees has been revised and the exchange rate was high, about RM8 to 1£.— Din Merican

  3. Din Merican,
Hehehe! Some say that MYD 7.7 is too high. Hahahaha! Of course, MYD 4 to MYD 7.7 was a big leap but then. Of course, Queen Belfast University was the cheapest in the 80s & 90s to international students. Tuition fees wise. Ku Li alma mater is Queen Belfast

  4. Congrats!
The Pound/Ringgit was about 5 in 1996 when I was in London to receive my post graduate Masters degree there. British is no longer the best now, it was already in the past!

  5. Congratulations & many happy returns to yourself, Dato’ Din and your good lady DR KAMSIAH – wish you both every success for the future.
