PAS Kedah terus mengekalkan status quo meletakkan 24 calonnya bertanding kerusi DUN, manakala PKR 10 kerusi. Menteri Besar Kerajaan Sementara Kedah Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak diumum kekal bertanding kerusi DUN Sungai Limau.

Sebaliknya, beliau hanya kekal mempertahankan kerusi Parlimen Pokok Sena dan perlu menentang Setiausaha Politik Perdana Menteri  Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Datuk Shahlan Ismail (calon BN).

  1. Comment on the ROS and its “pressure” on DAP.

“The Rocket will reach the Moon. Meanwhile, back on
earth , the UMNO Baru-BN cows (cowards?) in the condo will suffer from
    black and blue Eyes!”

  3. Dear Dr Phua,
The ROS letter although horribly timed, does nothing to void DAP’s legality. It merely questioned the composition of the CEC. The same thing happened to MMA the previous year, as you are well aware of. That has been resolved by a subsequent EGM.

The previous CEC remains effectual until there is outright refusal to redress the issues surrounding the ‘spread-sheet’ error and base disgruntlement of some members. There should be no problem using DAP rocket, i think.

It’s the lil’ pocket Napoleons in EC that may be a hindrance on nomination day. In which case, it will still be incumbent for the DAP candidates to be ready with an alternative set of nomination papers signed by either the PKR or PAS Sec-gens.

The way i see it, is that DAP’s opposition and siege mentality plays emotionally well as the underdog or being bullied by Taikor. That’s politics. The perceived confusion and high-drama should fizzle out on nomination day. This SNAFU is exactly what the Opposition needs to counter rampant vote-buying and pork-barrel FLOMatics.

    Fair assessment from here:
