Prime Minister Najib Razak said the 13th general election (GE13) has not been announced yet because the government wants the national transformation policy to be truly proven successful and that the people fully benefit from it.

“That is why we wait until we are exhausted to hold the general election, we wait because I want to prove that the national transformation policy can truly succeed,” he said when launching the Seremban Sentral 1Malaysia People’s Housing (PR1MA) project, Seremban today.

Also present were the Prime Minister’s wife, Rosmah Mansor, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hassan, Information Communication and Culture Minister Rais Yatim and PR1MA chairman Jamaludin Jarjis. Thus, the Prime Minister reminded the people not to change the ruling government in the 13th general election (GE13) claiming only the Barisan Nasional (BN) government can fulfill the aspirations of the people.

“We should be proud because the nation has achieved much success. If Ulu Temiang is to have its name changed to Seremban Utara, but the government should not be changed,” he said to loud applause from the audience.

Najib said today the people were fully convinced that the BN government not only knew how to talk but also implement (the pledges) for the people as stated in the 1Malaysia concept which was ‘People First’.

“Yesterday, I was in Terengganu, I rode the trishaw and asked the peddler how the present government was, and he said he would support the BN because PAS was ridiculous, only knows how to talk but does not know how to implement,” he said.

The Prime Minister said the government would continue to do what was best for the people so that they would enjoy prosperity and the country would continue to progress and remain in peace.

Goodies for Seremban

On the Seremban Sentral PR1MA project, Najib said 5,000 affordable housing units would be built in the KTM Seremban area on a piece of land measuring about 73 acres (about 30 hectares) which was expected to be ready in two-and-a-half years’ time.

“Seremban will be modernised soon. Just imagine Seremban Sentral becoming like the Sentral in Kuala Lumpur,” he said, adding that 6,000 affordable housing units would be built under the PR1MA project in Ulu Temiang or Seremban Utara.

He said the project would be open for application to those earning between RM2,500 and RM7,500 per month and aged 21 and above.  “Our policy must be inclusive in nature, regardless of income. About 20,000 people will benefit from this project,” the Prime Minister said.

The project also offered a lower price which was 20 per cent less than the market price besides having access to transportation facilities such as the train, buses, shopping centres, commercial offices, health and educational facilities.

  1. Talking rubbish, what did you achieve in the last 4 years when you are the Prime Minister. Promises, promises, promises and crap. You, Prime Minister are delaying the GE so that you can give out more crony projects and stay in Putrajaya for as long as possible. You know that you will not be in charge after GE-13. You are coward because you are scared to face people. Mr. Prime Minister, you are a hopeless case. I hope my sikh brothers and sisters can see that you are a phony.

  2. Emergency rule is possible as it is the only option left for Najib to remain Prime Minister. The situation in Sabah will be enough grounds to make this move. Of course, the evil incarnate Mahathir would love to do that he can lock up all his opponents and critics, and save himself and his family. NOC and Ops Lalang II?. Right now, Najib will go along with anything. He is able to con those like Dato Paul Low of Transparency International-Malaysia Chapter into believing that he will ensure electoral integrity. Cry Geranimo! Oouch too.

  3. Geranimo,
Every leader would have done it. Tunku did it with the Konfrontasi. Thatcher done with the Falkland War. Why not Najib wag the dog? The problem is that the dog may bite back if Najib didn’t wag the proper way

  4. Najib should be fired for using MEANINGLESS STUPID LANGUAGE..Since when is subsidized housing for the young and middle class any form of ‘transformation’? Which freaking dictionary says handouts are ‘transformation’. You can’t just say something is what you want it to be just because you did something. Do Kids c get straight A just because they handed in something on their exam papers? Do people just get a paycheck just because they showed up for work and move around or talk?

The man has wrote too many stupid commercial he believes that people will believe whatever he writes..

  5. Tak faham kenapa Pak Najib nak tunggu success Transformatiion policies.

  7. The ruling G will buy time and drag to the last day. In the meantime, will also brainstorm to see what is the best way to continue stay in power with no election or what other dirty tactics to use to win GE13. We have bet that it will wait for parliment to dissolve automatically.

  8. Najib wanted to bullshit, but he is far from smart in bullshitting.

It has been 4 years since he came to power by default. His ETP has been in the pipeline for more than 3 years. He wanted to see that his pet ETP which not many understood it ,”to succeed first ” before calling election. If in the last 3 years it was not successful, what guarantee that he got that it will be successful in the remaining 30 days?

I think he has got very little grey matter left in him!
