Happy Independence Day, Indonesia
Our friends in Indonesia celebrate the 67th Anniversary of Independence today with pride. Indonesia has come a long way and is now a major force for peace and stability in ASEAN. It has made tremendous socio-economic progress and is forging ahead with its nation building efforts for justice and unity.
I congratulate and extend my sincere good wishes to His Excellency the President and People of the Republic of Indonesia on this special occasion. May you continue to prosper in peace.–Din Merican

Just look at the official Independence Day logo – simplified dignity exhibiting pride, unity and progress and promoting patriotism! Tak payah pun diminta rakyatnya membalas budi!
Happy Independence Day Indonesia!
Indonesian women are feminists. But for some strange reason they too have their Obedient Wives Club. They encourage their men to take lots of teloq torpedo.
Mr Bean, in some strange ways i personally feel the affiliation, a “connection” if one can call it, with Indonesia generally, but particularly Bali b’coz of its Antiquity : strange but ‘magnetic’ ! – ” The Last Paradise” in the book of Made Wijaya ( Michael White, an Australian) –
He says ( to the effect ) : Whilst the Balinese are doing everything to ‘become’ Westernised, the Whites are busy turning themselves natives…… great feeling for Indonesia….
