2009 Joker of the Year
July 17, 2009
by Khoo Kay Peng
Each year this blog nominates a few individuals to be crowned the Joker of the Year. It is a bit unique this year. This is only the month of July and nomination is already closed and a winner declared.

Kay Peng's 2009 Joker of the Year
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz is the grand winner of 2009. He cautioned against pointing the finger at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for Teoh Beng Hock’s death.
I would like to inform Nazri of what I think of the MACC in this incident. The commission is wrong for abusing its investigation and interrogation procedure. Was Teoh a criminal? Would he abscond? Why must the commission conduct its interrogation after office hours until wee hours in the morning? Why can’t officers of the commission conduct the session during office hours the next day?
I am not suggesting a murder here but clearly the commission has a lot to explain for neglecting the safety of a person under their custody. Worse, this person was not even a suspect. The commission should be sued for negligence.
Nazri’s insensitivity should be severely criticised. For once I agree with Mahathir that this man is not fit to be in the current cabinet. Recently, he verbally attacked several commissioners of Suhakam who called for a new state election in Perak and called them “crooks”. It takes one to know one.
Nazri should make real his threats. He is welcome to come after this blogger. I am going to repeat it again; yes, the MACC was responsible for the death of Teoh Beng Hock. It could also be a breach of the commission’s ethics and procedure. — khookaypeng.blogspot.com

His performance at the Ajezera interview with Timo Bill, at the time of the berseh demonstration showed him up as someone who had no grasp of the context of the discussion. He had to be assisted by the eloquent Khiry. He showed facial expression of anger when confronted with valid rebuttals by Imtaz.
Two things strikes me, firstly how he ever became a minister,( really I should know better, being Malaysian, intellect and comprehension is not a prerequisite for a post in the cabinet) and secondly and this really floored me and I am sure will do you all too, how did he pass his law exams. The consolation is I will now know who not to employ as my lawyer.

Din, this chap is bankrupt of ideas. Only useless persons are retained or appointed by BN as ministers. 1-Malaysia.

Tohkong Mosjid: The following is my open letter to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Dear PM,
Just when I thought of giving you and BN the benefit of the doubt, MACC just spoilt it for you.
I guess you are not going to be able to do anything to punish the people responsible for causing a witness’ death because you don’t have the political will to do so.
Just as your popularity ratings are soaring, Nazri just helped you to bring it down lower in no time with his trademark idiotic comments.
If you keep supporting all this kind of nonsense, can you please hand in your resignation as soon as possible to save us further heartbreaks. We are really tired of your rhetoric as we feel everything is so screwed up under your present leadership.

Negligence?? Please explain how negligence has anything to do with his death under mysterious circumstances.

Gravity Nazri, the knowall of mysterious circumstances – does not deserve this joker of the year award, unless one reminices about perverted laughter.
He is the archetype of Homo Um-nosapiens.
I don’t find him humorous in the least bit; i find him despicable. That’s probably the only idea that i’ve in common with Octokutty.

The bride-to-be of the deceased is expecting their baby. She’s 2 month pregnant. I think nothing will come out of the police investigation, it is not unexpected in this stupid country. I urge the people who has the ability to make things happen organize something so I can go vent my frustration somewhere. Just let me know where, when and wear what colour. But pls no more candle light vigils and sign-song sessions….

I think Hamid al-blur is a joker. This Nazri guy is just a piece of furniture .
Danildaud - July 17, 2009 at 11:12 pm
Nazri and Syed Hamid are products of UMNO Baru under Che Det. Loyal to a fault as long as that serves their interest, these types can spell trouble in Malaysian politics. They are rewarded for playing their part in the current political tug-a-war under Najib.
I know both of them and privately they are nice and friendly people. I suppose, politicians like them have at least 2 lives, one private and the other as politikos. I rather know them as kawans and as politicians, they are on the other side which I oppose vehemently.–Din Merican

Why this Nzri chap has to open his ” chowkeeroad longkang ” filthy mouth. How would he feel someone is to say his playboy son jump out of the window Polis Bukit Aman ofiice ?
Teoh is an up and coming youngman who is just an aide to an Exco member and getting married next day and his wife-to-be expecting his 1st baby, why should he be subjected to 10 hours of intense interrogation. Hey, you heartless ” Malaysian Nazis ” , he is not a criminal.
Hoi ! Nzri you shut you mouth.
Better ” drop dead ” with a massive heart attack.
