THE following is the full statement by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, over the controversy involving Bukit Lanjan state assemblyman Elizabeth Wong, issued by his private secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani:
I am pleased to inform that Yang Amat Berhormat Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Bin Ibrahim, the Mentri Besar Selangor, has sought an audience with His Royal Highness, The Sultan of Selangor, on Wednesday, 25th February 2009 and duly informed His Royal Highness on the political development and the issue which involved Yang Berhormat Elizabeth Wong Keat Ping, the Selangor State Assemblyman for Bukit Lanjan who is also the State Selangor Exco Member.
His Royal Highness, The Sultan of Selangor, has commanded me to inform that His Royal Highness could not offer any guidance or advice to the Mentri Besar in the matter related to the issue of Elizabeth Wong as it was still under police investigation and it involved her political position.
It is His Royal Highness’ stance as the Sultan of Selangor to be above politics. His Royal Highness believes that whatever decision that is going to be made by the Mentri Besar will be made with accurateness, fairness and with wisdom by taking into consideration the interest of the rakyat ,in particular and the State of Selangor generally.
His Royal Highness is upset and worried as of late the intrusion of someone’s privacy and private rights was being used to destroy one’s dignity and reputation. It is a sad thing as one’s life and private rights were being made public and subject to public scrutiny by publicising in the mass media.
To Elizabeth Wong, His Royal Highness felt sad and sympathised with her as to the unfortunate event she had suffered and hoped that she will remain calm and be patient in continuing with her life henceforth.

HRH Sultan of Selangor is an enlightened ruler of the most developed and prosperous state in our country. His Royal Highness’s stance of Eli Wong is admirable.
Our politicians especially those in UMNO-BN should not engage in acts that can be deemed as an “invasion of privacy”. They have done a grave injustice to Eli, a hardworking state assemblyperson and Exco member, representing voters in Bukit Lanjan, and should apologise to her, failing which she should take legal action to restore her honour and dignity. She should take on Mr. Toyol who exploited the situation for his own political advantage.—Din Merican

I rgaciously hail HRH Sultan Selagor for his level-headed stance on the issue of Elizabeth Wong. If the person/or persons did not get his message then I can safly say that the politician himself is “derhaka”. In HRH’s message, it clearly indicates that the much respected ruler ha compassion for his subjects who had been tainted and luridly exposed just for their own ends and also to gain political mileage in view of the upcoming party elections and also the government of the day’s two by-elections. I truly hail HRH Sutan Sharrafuddin for his very concerned feeling and those invlved shoud take heed and analyse what he sudah titah! If they don’t then I brand them recalcitrant and above all “Derhaka” . I also would like to point out that HRH Sultan Sharafuddin is the first state ruler who made a tremendous cutback in the Datukship awards. Hail Thee Ruler who is Truly Just and Love His subject”. His soft comment means well and a “hard-hitting missile” for those power hungry and crazed politicians. Not mentioning names one former state leader said why the reason to get the Sultan involved? Apa kau reveal that you are afraid of Tuanku? Come on, see the devilish streak in your Botox applied face…like to be anotherK. Mike Jackson? I wonder!!!!!! Again, I say, (Malay saying changed a bit lah accordng to ever changing political era!)

Totally agree HRH Sultan Selangor has indeed made a wise decision and should be applauded for making his feelings known about how Tuanku feels about ‘opportunists’ who intrude into the privacy of other people’s lives.
Mr.Toyol should be the last person to criticise Eli as he Mr.Toyol has been involved in shady & questionable deals whilst he was MB Selangor.
All the past events show Pakatan Rakyat is truly the choice of the huge Majority of the Rakyat of All Races.

Toyol is currently suffering from the ego in his heart. The fire of greed is burning days and nights in his heart. He would not hesitate to exploit anything in order to satisfy his ego.
Very soon, we will see him licking a fresh wound from being kicked by his own boys in his own party. By now, he is looking for an answer as to why his own boys screwing his arse despite of his seniority as compared to the other two candidates.
Karpal Singh should sue that fella for taking over the jobs of cuci longkang /road sweeper in front of his house and can’t do the work properly. Any vacancy for tukang sapu at local councils in Selangor should be advertised in all local media.

If i may be allowed to answer that question, dear Puan, from tean:

Do you guys know that speaking in tongue is a gift bestowed by the Holy Spirit?? Just enter a Pentecostal Church, you know what I mean. You see whole groups of people speaking in tongue.
Could it be that Eli Wong’s partner was speaking in tongue and had it recorded so it could be used as a demo tape for those learning how to speak in tongue? If so then she has not broken any law.

Do you know why Kobe beef is world famous? They feed the cows with beer which makes the beef very tender! Not in the same league with our local cows who sit in Parliament. Many of our local cows prefer weed to beer.
